Some of the photographs on this website are of my entry sidewalk.  Many companies offer the service of mudjacking to lift the sidewalk, which the mudjacking process when properly executed, is a very creditable system.  For me, I did not want holes drilled through my sidewalk especially when the sidewalk is the avenue to our front door.  So my option was to remove the sidewalk and pour new concrete.  If we poured new concrete the new pour will have a new concrete look vs. an aged look per the adjacent concrete flat work.  This becomes even more apparent when decorative flat work is involved.  This situation is what inspired the development of the “MySlabJack” system.  Upon completion of the project there was little evidence that the sidewalk had been lifted. Consequently, I felt that other homeowners or commercial property owners would appreciate the results achieved and decided to manufacture and market the “MySlabJack” system.

As President and CEO of a major steel foundation manufacturing organization I have been involved in the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of numerous solution - oriented, foundation industry product lines. The “Find A Contractor” tab on this website is where we list our installing contractors across the country.  The “MySlabJack” system is one service of many services the installing contractors provide.  The services that each installing contractor offers will more than likely be unique from one contractor to another.  You found our website because your property has a sinking concrete issue.  Many of our installing contractors offer deep foundation support services and many others offer the shallow concrete support systems and possibly offering handyman services and/or landscaping services.  We want to be a benefit to their businesses and to you.  We at “MySlabJack” want our installing contractors to be successful in all the services they offer.  This is why the “MySlabJack” installing contractors have all their services listed even when they offer solutions that compete with the “MySlabJack” system.  All we ask our installing contractors to do is when there is a sinking concrete inquiry where the “MySlabJack” system is creditable and is a good value to you as the customer, utilize the system, if not we want you as a consumer to know that our contractors may have other systems to fix your sinking concrete needs.  If we do not have an installing contractor near you and you know of a quality contractor, please refer them to us.  If you do not know of a contractor call or e-mail us that you have sinking concrete and we will find a contactor.  We at “MySlabJack” and the Installing Contractors all agree in the “Beliefs” that are listed on the “Find A Contractor” tab.  Each of our installing contractors are independently owned and operated. 

The reasons we offer these products to the Do It Yourself (DIY) customers are; the “MySlabJack” system is not a difficult system to install, DIY people are DIY people, one way or another the DIY person is going to fix their sinking sidewalks themselves, and now the DIY person has the “MySlabJack” system to make their projects more productive!

I also realize that there are ½ day DIY, one day DIY and so on...  Each DIY may have a limit when a DIY project becomes too intense.  That is why we have the “Find A Contractor” tab on this website so you can “Find a Contractor” to install the “MySlabJack” system for you.
